Frequent use may require more regular cleaning to prevent soot build-up and chimney fires. This will also be dependent on your insurance needs or landlord requirements if applicable. For example a Thatched property may need six monthly sweeps.

Yes, someone will need to be present to allow access. The sweep usually takes upto 30–60 minutes, and we ensure a tidy, mess-free service with dust control sheets and professional care. This is providing we do not find any complications.

Absolutely. We are fully certified - NACS and insured up to £5 million for your peace of mind. We also provide an official chimney sweep certificate for insurance purposes after each service.

For safety and comfort, please keep pets and small children out of the room being serviced. Our equipment can be noisey and the presence of unfamilar people may cause distress. It is also important to ensure children and animals don't enter the work area/room as soot and tools can pose a hazard.

You should also ensure there is clear access to the Fire/Stove to help us work efficiently and safely. Ideally we will have six feet or 2 metres of open space. Free from furniture, rugs, ornamenst or fragile items.

If you have a wood burning stove please empty the ash pans in advance.
